Another scrapbook page today - this one is a partner to Thank Heavens... that I shared with you a few posts further down the page. The bp on this one is the opposite way to the other so that they complement each other. (One has a grey background with pink foreground and the other one is pink background with grey foreground - a subtle difference that is rather nice for facing pages.) All of the elements are from the Pretty in Pink SB kit apart from the stuffed toy which is a digi stamp from odds & soxlets and is one of the images supplied for round #17 of the progressive challenges at CDAC. I paper pieced the toy with 3 different papers and added different textures to the papers to make it look like it had been made from scraps of fabric. I've used it as an embellishment on the bottom left hand corner of the page but I couldn't resist adding it to the photo as well. I seem to be looking for something in the pram so I thought it might be fun to 'hang' it from the pram handle like I'd thrown it out and it was hanging by it's arm.
Don't you love how computers have revolutionised how we can record our memories? I love how I've been able to add to the photo without ruining the original.
I'm entering my page into these challenges:
- CDAC- Progressive challenge
- Sketch 'n' Stash - sketch and new stash is the digi stamp
- Crafty Creations - Frame it!
- 2 Sisters - Anything Goes
- Stamp, Scrap & Doodle - Ribbons & bows
- The Happy Scrappers - Anything Goes
Wow! two posts in one day! I might need to go for a nice lie down in a darkened room, lol! Thanks for dropping by today, see you again soon.
